Downloading Windows 10 from Microsoft Website

You can DOWNLOAD Windows 10 FREE from the Microsoft Website from the following link

We recommend downloading WINDOWS 10 to a 16GB USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 USB FLASH KEY

When you download to the USB key you can now use the key to boot the PC into the Windows 10 Installation and Setup. Follow the On Screen Instructions.

You do not need a Windows 10 Licence to Install Windows 10 however it is needed to register Windows 10. If you use without a key you are limited to what you can do however Windows 10 is operational. We always recommend purchasing a Windows 10 Licence and this is available on our website as an option when making a PC purchase. If you did not purchase when buying your PC please email sales@custompc.ie and we will endeavour to provide assistacne.

If your PC has crashed and you are unable to boot into Windows 10 to download the installer then the solution is to do this from another PC. If you are stuck and need help please email sales@custompc.ie and we will send you a key ( Cost of USB Key Only as W10 Installer if FREE ).

The Windows Installer can be downloaded onto a DVD however we no longer recommend this as an option as most PCs no longer have an optical drive.

Once you reinstall Windows 10 onto your PC you may have to install device drivers for some of the components. You can check in Windows Device Manager for devices Windows 10 was unable to automatically install drivers for.

All components in a PC require drivers and you should always download the latest versions from the manufacturers of the components website.

Our motherboards are primarily from ASUS , GIGABYTE , MSI and ASROCK so typing in the brand name and model of your motherboard into GOOGLE SEARCH will likely show you a link to the manufacturers driver download page for your device. The model and manufacturer of your component will be listed on your ORDER INVOICE and within your account. If you need assistance please email sales@custompc.ie or create a ticket from this page.

We do not recommend using versions of Windows downloaded from TORRENT WEBSITES or versions which are specific to manufacturers. If you for example use a Windows 10 DVD or USB Key which was supplied with a DELL LAPTOP then this likely only has drivers specific to DELL. If you download cracked versions of Windows 10 from TORRENT WEBSITES you are risking downloading malware on your PC which can include software which steals credit card information and or personal details. We only recommend Genuine Windows 10 software which is downloaded direct from the Microsoft website.
