GAMEFORCE.ie is a specialist pc builder who build custom gaming pcs and professional business workstations. Started in 2006 we have been a PC Builder who primarily built our PCs which were then sold in local stores and on third party websites. In 2024 we made the decision to launch our own website allowing us to offer our custom pcs and laptops direct to our customers across Ireland and Europe. We offer Lifetime Support as well as Collect & Return Warranty with all of our PCs & Laptops to ensure our customers get the best possible support.
Our roots can in fact be traced back to 1993 when we built our first commercial pcs which were sold across the UK and Ireland by Computer Stores as well as from Super Markets and other resellers and in 1996 we created the first time customers could order a PC based on a small number of options and again these were mainly sold in specialist computer stores across the UK and Ireland. Our first website was launched in late 1999 however the site was a catalog which did not allow online purchases and that step would not arrive for another 2 years followed in 2007 by the first website which truly allowed online customisation of pcs. In 2007 we provided our custom pc options website as a service to other online resellers who launched their own online businesses based on our custom pcs. Over the years the infrastructure behind our hosted custom pc websites grew and in 2018 we made the decision to sell our own pre configured pcs online in Germany , France and the UK. In late 2023 we decided to launch an EU wide website that combines most of the ideas that we created over the last 20 years however now we had decided to provide our custom pcs direct to customers across all EU Countries and to expand our Collect & Return Warranty to cover all countries within the EU under the same terms and conditions as we have always provided to resellers and customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
As decision was taken in 2024 to not sell components to home builders from any of our websites and our decision for this comes from a number of issues. We are no a specialist component reseller and we offered components as a service to our customers however the expectation of component customers interfered with our goal of being the number one pc builder across Europe. We will add upgrade options for customers who have already purchased custom pcs however we will no longer offer components to home builders on any of our websites. Offering 10,000 plus products on our websites was slowing down our pc option configurator and each month we found ourselves having to expand the hardware which ran our websites. We also found that 95% of our customer support tickets came from purchasers of components however components only accounted for 20% of our sales and our resources are better served assisting the customers who pay our wages and those customers are the ones who buy custom pcs , laptops , servers and workstations. 100% of our support staff can now do their job of assiting the customers who buy our computers rather than answering questions about when will by order arrive. This change to our websites will also reduce the lead time when ordering a custom pc or laptop and we will be able to provide more updates to customers and offer a much more personal service post the removal of components from our websites.
We use brand name products when building our pcs and we have long terms relationships with ASUS , ASROCK , CORSAIR , CRUCIAL , GIGABYTE , MSI , POWER COLOR & Many other Tier 1 Component Manufacturers. Our relationship with component manufacturers allow us to offer excellent pricing as well as build quality in our custom desktop pcs and workstations.
In Ireland we work with DPD.IE and AN POST to ensure fast , reliable & safe delivery of our custom desktop pcs and laptops to every county in Ireland. All PCs and Laptops we ship come with Insurance Cover as standard from DPD.IE as well as cover through our AVIVA GOODS IN TRANSIT policy which ensures should any PC , Workstation or Laptop be damaged in transit it is covered under both the carriers insurance and our own Goods in Transit Insurance with Aviva.
Our build , logistics and support facility has been custom built to allow us to build & support up to 1000 PCs & Laptops per month and we have the space to expand our production facility as our orders increase. We have 2 clean rooms with 17 build stations which have ESD protection ( Electic Static Discharge ) to ensure the quiality of the computers we build. Our Returns Clean Room features 3 custom designed workstations allowing us to upgrade , repair & test PCs quickly.
In our facility we carry over €750,000 of components which includes processors , memory , sdds , hdds , cases , power supplies and other parts to allow us to build pcs and laptops quickly.
Our relationship with component manufacturers such as Asrock , Asus , Gigabyte , MSI & many more allows us to import components into Ireland direct from the European facilities of these manufacturers for next day delivery into us here in Ireland. This relationship also ensures we have stock of the latest motherboard , processors and graphics card with new products added to our online PC Configurators usually within a few days of availability.
Our Goal is to build the best custom gaming pcs and business workstation using only the best quality components with our computers built on independent stations by experienced technicians. Our PCs are built by a single technician and not on a production line. Once a PC is built and tested by the build technician the PC is then passed to another technician for a quality control test to ensure the PC is tested prior to dispatch. On top of a cosmetic examination the newly built pc is both stress and performance tested to ensure the specification of the pc matches the expected performance. No computer ever leaves our building without under going a full set of Quality Control tests and we do this to ensure every computers is 100% operational when it is received by our customers across Europe.

We have also reduced the amount of PC Configurators on our website from over 250 to less than 30 and the reason for this comes from the new options configurator which uses AI Technology to offer more options thus eliminating the need for 250+ individual pc configurators. We had considered having only a single pc configurator product on our website which would ask a few questions and then present the options however we decided that was a step too far at this stage however this is going to be the future.
